The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of recording and getting ready for my next release and I am so happy to present my upcoming single, Lady, to you. The track can be pre-saved at this link.
This song is dedicated to a special lady in my life, my wife! I really wanted to let the guitar talk and to capture the love and admiration that I feel for her. There are some 808 elements for the bass line and some piano playing as well to really stretch the creative direction, but all in all, I wanted Lady to be a modern take on a love ballad. Similar to songs like “Lovers Rock” by Cruza or “We Don't Have to be Alone” by Thee Sacred Souls, I wanted to incorporate some of those classic soul elements, real instruments and a steady groove and I can't wait to share the track with y'all.
