Let's Rock is now available on all streaming platforms and I'm so excited to share it with you! Another track with a guitar focus, I feel like Let's Rock builds on the foundation from Paradise and expands on the themes of love and having a good time with someone you love. Naturally, some smooth guitar chords form the basis but there is also an added focus on snappy drums and an almost AC/DC guitar riff in the chorus which is a natural extension of the various musical influences I have. I hope you get the chance to listen to and enjoy the song.
Yesterday, was also quite an event because in addition to my single going live, I had the blessing to grace the Victory Black Box Theater stage once again for another open mic. There were some great acts on stage performing original songs, telling stories, and reciting poetry to share with the world and I'm glad I got to be a part of it. For this performance, I decided to play the first song I learned on the guitar - Bob Marley's “Three Little Birds." It felt great to play an uplifting song and it was an awesome feeling to have the crowd engaged and singing along. I can't wait to step onto the stage again soon!
